In 2018 Mark started dreaming up the domes. By 2019 he had ordered the first five domes from fDomes.com and started site preparation. A half mile of road had to be built, sites and paths cleared and a massive solar system planned and parts ordered.

The domes arrived in August and we started assembling the dome kits. We wanted privated bathrooms for each dome so we put in a huge septic system and a five room shower house.

We were pioneers in the glamping and dome resort business. We had our first guest on the last day of March, 2020 just as the lockdowns started. In 2021 we purchased 40 more acres of land adjacent to the Blue Mountain Dome site and ordered more domes to set up on a beautiful little canyon on Pole Creek. We set up 4 more domes on the canyon.

Originally we called the property "The Dome At Canyonlands." But there were complications with that name and we rebranded in 2022 to domes 1-5 being called Blue Mountain Domes and 6-9 the Canyon Rim Domes.
